Title: Compensatory foot arch exercises for athletes under the age of 18 Objectives: The aim of the Bachelor thesis was to examine the effect of compensatory exercises on the shape and function of the foot arch in athletes under the age of 18. Method: In a quantitative empirical study in the form of a quasi-experiment, a group of performance athletes from track and field sports club ASK Dipoli z.s (n = 10, 6 girls, 4 boys) underwent a 2-month intervention program to support the foot arch. Separate exercises for activating and stabilising the foot arch took place 3 times a week for 10 minutes. In the data collection, diagnostic tests, biomedical and physical measurements related to the foot arch were used in both the pre-test and post-test: aspection, palpation, evaluation of leg stabilization, anthropometric data regarding the foot arch, evaluation of the foot printed on paper, and other specific tests. Using the Excel software, the results were recorded and statistically processed at the level of comparison of values between each test.
